When learning how to create a super-secret, by-invite-only blogger site, I stumbled across some YouTube video tutorials about embedding disqus. That’s when my life got flipped-turned upside down. I learned there were different interpretations on how to pronounce disqus. One Indian feller (the India kind) pronounced it like, “dis-kiss.” Another India Indian feller (they sure like to create helpful YouTube tutorials) pronounced it like the word, “discuss.” I found the subtle yet distinct pronunciations to be unnerving. I realized that probably only half of us use the correct pronunciation in our heads, while the other half of us (well, of you) are dumb dummies who internally pronounce it the wrong way.
