Is There Objectively a BEST Thanksgiving Side Dish?

 Coming from the Orient, traditional Thanksgiving dinners don't appeal to me. 

For me, the best Thanksgiving dinner is hot pot because only Chinese restaurants open on Thanksgiving night. But this thread isn't about me. This thread is about YOU. And YOUR opinion. And everyone knows that there is only one right opinion and every other opinion is wrong. 

So to the Americans and Canadians, let's hear it. What is the BEST Thanksgiving side dish? 

Does it involve potatoes? 

Or is it the Mac and Cheese? 

Or are you a tree hugger and prefer the vegetables?
