Christmas has come & gone. The fat man in the red suit delivered all his gifts to all the good boys & girls. He ate up all the chocolate chip cookies, drank Haystacks Calhoun's weight in milk, and laid there while Mrs. Claus did the horizontal macarena on him all day yesterday.
Now, with all that being said, we come upon the time where everything has it's Best of 2024 & Worst of 2024. That led me to create this thread. If you had to give yourself a Google Review of 2024, what star rating would you give it?
Were you dumb enough to look at the total Solar Eclipse? Did you win some kind of fantasy sports league, which no one cares about? Were you offended by who the United States picked for President to lead us into the second half of the 2020's? Or, better yet, are you offended by PCT, which saw it's debut in the Spring of 2024? Only to finish the year as one of, if not the most, popular sites on Disqus? Yes, these statistics were verified.
Personally, as for the one & only self proclaimed Bot of Disqus, I'd probably give my 2024 a one-star rating. I think I can legit only think of about 73 days out of this year that I actually enjoyed. I'm not that much of a pessimist; I'd like to think I'm more of a realist. And if you ask Dave Meltzer, I'm sure he'd probably give me a one-star rating, also.
So, go ahead. Let's see what you'd give 2024. Maybe here's to looking to a brighter 2025. Or maybe not.
