- Evenness: Prevents changes in tension while sewing
- Abrasion resistance: High-quality thread resists abrasion
- Smoothness: Thread should be smooth enough to pass easily through machine guides
- Strength: Thread should be strong enough to hold seams together through wear and laundering
- Stretch: Thread should have enough stretch to prevent breaking or puckering seams
- Tightly spun: High-quality thread is tightly spun together so that few fibers deviate from the strand
- Lint: High-quality cotton thread produces less lint while sewing
- Tight twist: A tight twist makes thread stronger and reduces lint
I wonder if the previous threads have such qualities.
But in the end, none of that really matters.
You know what makes a real quality thread? Quality people.
That's right. I'm talking about YOU. YOU make this thread a quality thread. So enjoy this quality thread. It's quality not because of the 15 minutes I spent to type it up. Or the great images and embedded videos I added. Or even the thread topic. It's because of the great people of Project Chaos Theory, and I mean great people. The creeps, racists, and paedos get weeded out and removed instead of being embraced or given second and third chances. A thread simply cannot be of the highest quality with such people.
What's your favorite Christmas song? Where are you traveling for the holidays? Do you celebrate a holiday other than Christmas?
