Well, after the past two attempts at blogs, which undoubtedly failed... it's time to turn a new corner and get back on track with another one of BOT's infamous blogs.
We've officially hit Summer. Which means Satan's nutsack will drag across your face everytime you walk outside. Every Winter you hear the white girls dream about Summer and how they can't wait for the beach (or shore), bonfires, and White Claws. But when Summer hits, all they want is pumpkin spice flavored everything.
For me, personally, I'm looking forward to days getting shorter, cooler temperatures, and Christmas. Yes, Christmas. Think about it... we're halfway there. Christmas in June happens on the 25th. I mean, QVC already started their Christmas in July sales.
But, let's talk about the real sport of the summer - Baseball. We all know the Yankees will somehow choke away in the postseason (or may not even make it). We know the Rockies will probably win about 15 more games this season to finish with the all-time worst record in baseball. As of this writing, the Tigers have the best record in baseball. But, yet, DBL will cry racism when they don't even reach the LCS. And the Dodgers will somehow win the Japanese World Series.
Fantasy baseball is at an all-time high within the realm of PCT. Look at the numbers - There are 12 teams within 7 games of each other. That's unfathomable! One team has crossed the threshold of 7,000 points, but in EIGHTH PLACE in the league! One team already made EIGHTY transactions! Compared to myself who's made only fifteen. The super secret baseball chat is popping off numbers unseen or unheard of. Therefore, I'm announcing - Starting this week... all conversation on the super secret baseball chat will carry over into comments on PCT. That's right, I'm already staking claim as the highest rated thread in the history of PCT.
So, let's sit back and enjoy the ride of the second half of Summer. And enjoy the downfall of other Disqus sites.
