When Is It Appropriate to Have A Sequel?

When is having a sequel appropriate, and when is it too much? How many series should a movie have before it overstays it's welcome?

Baldies Baseball Blog was the infamous thread with the lowest comment count outside of the original thread, which has a lower comment count. But Bot's Baseball Blog? Just another thread in the long list of threads. Forgettable, and had no accomplishments or accolades. A failed sequel perhaps.

The Godfather is one of the best movies ever. A true classic. The Godfather II was just as good. But The Godfather III? One too many. Awful sequel. Why did they even do it?

Toy Story peaked at 3. That should have been the ending. But now there's Toy Story 5 on the way. When is enough enough?

This Sunday we are getting Evolution 2. An all divas PPV. The ticket sales are not doing so hot. People don't care for it. Evolution 1 barely drew, and it had Ronda Rousey. Who asked for the sequel?

What's left to be sequel'd? Will PCT get a PCT2 if it inevitably dies? Who will be the returning cast, and who will be the new cast members? And will Baldie's Baseball Blog get a 3rd sequel next year? Tune in to find out.
